THREE PURPOSES OF MARRIAGE
Marriage exist primarily for three purpose which I like to call the 3 Ps
- PURPOSE
Marriage exists ultimately to fulfill the plans of God. A person must connect with his or her purpose first before connecting with another human being. The first responsibility a person has is towards his or her divine assignment; it is their responsibility to discover this before any other assignment. It is this purpose that feeds every other thing in a person’s life. Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” ‒ Genesis 2:15, 18
Adam found his purpose first and God gave him a wife who comes along to partner with him to reach his peak in his assignment. Without an assignment and a vision, there will be no clear-cut direction. - PARTNERSHIP
Marriage is more productive when the man and woman understand the concept of partnership, this depicts working together to achieve a goal.

Marriage exists for reproduction of godly biological and spiritual seeds; seeds for God, and His
purpose on earth.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion…” ‒ Genesis 1:28
Children are not just for our pleasure or a product of fun as some say, but they are to be trained for God’s purpose.
